The reversible vest is an easy to make pattern for boys and girls from 7 to 16 years old. Both the pattern of the basic gilet and any chosen options; ruffles, stand-up neckline and cap sleeve are reversible. The vest closes by two ribbons around the buttons.

The reversible vest is an easy to make pattern for boys and girls from 7 to 16 years old. Both the pattern of the basic gilet and any chosen options; ruffles, stand-up neckline and cap sleeve are reversible. The vest closes by two ribbons around the buttons.
The pattern is drawn with a medium encore, making it good to wear over a longsleeve, thin sweater or T-shirt.
As a fabric recommendation is; imitation bond or teddy fabric for the outside and a cheerful cotton fabric for the inside. But you can also make the vest tougher by choosing a denim or Napa leather as the outer fabric, for example.
How does it work?
You buy a pdf pattern that you print out at home in A4 or A0 size. The included sewing instructions will help you from start to finish. It is a detailed description of each step in making the patterns. It contains clear photos, explanatory text and tips that will give your projects a professional look.
If some sewing techniques are new to you, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your sewing skills. Think of these patterns as your sewing lessons.
